The place
The Royal Standard of England is England's oldest freehouse. Since Saxon times ale has been served here for over 900 years. It was an amazing experience!

Their motto - "if you don't come for the food then come for the atmosphere!" I think the food also worth one visit. - I had delicious lunch there - I chose the traditional Fish and Chips - and it was unbeleivable huge portion and delicious. (see in the WS)

TE guys! I definitely recommend this place for everyone! www.rsoe.co.uk

hello miklos,
i have enjoyed your enthusiasm for old England.I like the close up of the ancient timbers. I also smiled at your fish and chips workshop. Yum yum but they look very ordinary to me. it is our national dish and nothing for me to get excited about. :)
But what would I enjoy if I visited Hugary?
regards
Bev

Hi Miklos,
I like the ambiance of this photo. Peaceful looking, but i feel like in a little bit it will be crowded with people wearing Saxon costume :) Fine details.
Cheers,
Claire

Hi Miklos. Well if I'm ever in town I'll have to stop by! ;) Thanks for uploading the workshop to help complete the picture. I like that we can actually make out the name of the place. Well done Miklos.

Hello Miklos, I think this place really beautiful and full of nice old atmospheres, architecture is very nice and I can see in this your beautiful perspective a lot of nice corner to photograph, well done and compliments, also to the tasty note.
I see also a piece of Italy into the workshop image, the bottle of water is of one of our most famous labels, nice to see.
Have a good day
Ciao
Vinicio
