Photographer’s Note
Thanks for the comments on "Field of rape". This was the view on the other side of the road from that photo. The yellow this time is from dandelions, not rape. I upload this because cropping out the foreground worked in this shot. I'm not wholly convinced that cropping out the bare earth in "Field of rape" is a good idea - I did try it but decided to leave it in. Leaving it in to me emphases that the source of the yellow is growing things; that they are deliberately sown seed, and it gives perspective to the size of the flower (i.e. they are not dandelion-sized). The un-cropped version tells more of a story although the cropped version may be more visually pleasing. As always there is no "right" version; it depends what you're looking for in a photo. Hope you like this one as much. "Blue bell woods", another pic form the same walk, is shot down in the valley behind the tree line in this one.

Wow!!! It's even more beautiful! And such a great photo. I really think it's almost perfect, just a bit too sharp? But I just love it!...
And "Spring Meadow" is a nicer sounding title too! ;-)))

Now you're talking! Wow! Its soooo beautiful. It just shows that a single turn of ones head may give you a fantastic perspective.

Beautiful panorama. Clear colors and light are beautiful. Nice sky too. Some parts of the middle field and the rape on top are nicely highlighted by the sun. Lot's of attractive details in the whole. Well done!

Wow. A simple observation, and a brilliant photograph.
Curious perhaps that while this may not be a photograph of technical merit (artistic content and stuff like that), it is just great to look at. Perhaps this is a function of the tremendous range of colors, high level of detail, and diverging perspective?

that's a lovely shot! I could eat those green pastures right from my monitor, I wish I was a cow right now!
Love that strictly horizontal cloud bar too. Nothing too dramatic, nothing too enhanced or contrasted, that's a delight for the eyes...
