The lobby from a recently opened design hotel in the heart of London as seen from the top floor. Though much smaller in scale it reminded me of the Guggenheim museum in New York which has quite a similar form. If you go up to the top floor you can look all the way down and watch people walk by below, checking in and out of the hotel. Although the hotel is rather expensive and has its very own clientele (I had the impression lots of "important people" from the media sector stayed there) the staff was very friendly, greeting everyone, allowing me to take pictures for private purposes. Even if you cannot afford to spend a night there (like I) the Great Eastern Hotel near Liverpool Street Station is worth a visit just for its nice architecture and design. Just walk in the lobby and straight towards the elevators ;)

Hi Ulrike, really nice shot with great composition. It's very well exposed in difficult conditions.

Take care,

harmonious balance of colors.

well done!

Hi Ulrike,
This was obviously a nice subject and PoV to play with the radiating circles, I like the white dominant as well that makes it look more sophisticated.
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves
