Photographer’s Note
Here is the second in a series of photos from My walk round Locke Park in Redcar yesterday morning. In yesterdays post, I mentioned that the lake was frozen in parts and this is taken from one of those areas.
Once again I used a ND grad filter to keep the detail in the sky.

Nice photo, Lovely scene. I like the warm reflections on the iceparts. Good colours in the sky too, sharpness it fine.
I like the part of foreground you've put inside the frame, the frosted leaves are nice, it's a good detail.
Nicely composed. Bit noisy in the sky. I would have put some Noise Reduction and/or Filter: Despeckle on it.
Greetings.

Lovely shot. I too like the way you have captured the reflections of the warm light on water and the crispness of the foliage.
Merry Christmas!

I've just spotted your recent posts. This is beautiful. That early morning light is wonderful and the colours in the sky reflected in the frozen lake are fairly subtle, but stunning. You have achieved great depth thanks to both f22 and focusing fairly closely so the fg is sharp. Just noticed sosme dust showing up in the sky. I'm sure you know how to deal with that. Great shot
Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Hi Paul,
Excellent composition, one can almost feel the chill in the wind. Beautiful colours.

Good composition and what I like best here is that frosty foreground + colour reflection in the frozen lake surface.

Very beautiful foto Paul, nice colors and composition.I think it could be better if you take it orrizontal or crop a little at the bottom.
