Photographer’s Note
As I explained in my previous posts Birmingham is a very multicultural city. There is also a big Indian community and every year there are many festivals. The most popular is called Mela (www.necmela.com). This photo is from 2005 Mela.
As it was indoors and these women were dancing I was quite glad that I managed to get a reasonably sharp photo from a long distance and also interesting DOF. Only pity that we can't see both eyes.
