[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken late last year with a Conon 10D clamped to a bridge, on a very cold night about 6.30 pm. I hope to repeat the shot as soon as the weather is right with my 5D. Any suggestions to improve will be welcome.

I read the news today oh boy, 4,000 holes in Blackburn, Lancashire. And 'though the holes were rather small, they had to count them all, now they know how many holes it to takes to fill the Albert Hall! - John Lennon, 'A day in the life'

A special image here of beautiful contrasts and amazing exposure. The straks of light provided by the passing cars provides a great FG, curving towatds the city. The star-bursts of lights are a good feature. The layering of cloud and light, and passing smoke complete this excellent collage of colour.
