Photographer’s Note
This is a small country lane in Milton Abbot, Devon, at the end of a short drive to the cottage where we spent our holiday last year.
Exposure was difficult. Too dark, and it removed the detail from the trees. Too light, and it bleached out the highlights at the end of the tunnel. Hand-held it was a challenge to keep it sharp, and I thought the shaft of sunlight made a nice feature.
ISO 200.

Hello Vicky,
Old trees are always very attractive subjects!
These fine specimens are for sure of a dignified age as the trunks seem to be covered with green moss...
Well composed imgae with attractive lines, the play of light adds life!
Greetings,
Pablo -
