Photographer’s Note

The East Coast holiday village of Mundesley grew rapidly when the Victorians brought visitors to the district by opening a railway in 1889. They came to Mundesley to sample the finest air in the country. The railway has long gone, but the fresh sea breezes off the North Sea remain as invigorating as ever. Mundesley today is a holiday resort with a wonderful sandy beach, considered one of the best in Norfolk, with safe swimming when the tide is out.

The village contains the Maritime Museum possibly one of the smallest museums in the country.

This was taken on a very sunny, hazy day in July during a weeks stay in Mundesley.

Now its getting colder, I needed a reminder of a warm, happy summer gone by!

Simple but I like this picture, good point of view and pretty colours. A beautiful flag three colors, sand, sea, and sky,
three elements of the ground. Very good shot Vicky..!

Belle image et scéne de ces personnes courageuse allant marcher dans la mer, il ne doit pas faire trés chaud, meme si c'est le mois de juillet, beau ciel, une belle lumére sur l'ensemble, joli

Hi Vicky,
nice beach scenery.I like the dark sea colour near horizont.The rays of light which are coming down trough the clouds are also very interesting.
It makes an impression of harmony.
