[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken from the London Eye on a grey hazy day in London. The British Airways London Eye is the world's tallest observation wheel at 135m high. Located on the banks of the River Thames it offers unrivalled views over London.
Edward the Confessor had the original palace built in the eleventh century. The British parliament is the seat of the Government of the United Kingdom. The Palace of Westminster consists of the House of Commons (elected) and the House of Lords(not elected- hereditary and nominated). Big Ben, one of Londons famous landmarks is found at the Houses of Parliament. Big Ben is not the clock tower but the thirteenth bell which strikes the hour. It is counterweighted with old pennies! Despite the lack of good light you have an incredibly sharp and detailed image. The London Eye is an excellent vantage point for city views.

HI Asa,
Nice view of this parliament house... Not usual and great point of view !! London Eye must be great to see everything in London...
Maybe too few contrast due to the grey day...
Christophe

Hi asa,
Very nice capture of truly magnificent parliament building. What a contrast with Battersea power station in the background! Typical english weather was against you I think, but very good work
Kind Regards
Steve

Ola Asa fantastcia vista do parlamento ingles, parabens!!!
Um abraço Gonçalo

Hi it is a nice shot. you are lucky that even though it is hazy you can still see the parliament building clearly. when i climbed the london eye, it was so gloomy day that all pics turn out to be so bad. I almost had the same photo as yours at same angle..but it is all hazy.

yours is a nice shot.

Hi Asa,

What fantastic view of the Houses of Parliament from London Eye. Also, I can see Westminster Abbey.

I send you a workshop with some changes, and I hope you like it.

Interesting note.

Best regards,

Cristina.

Too bad for this one: the point of view and the sharpness are very good, but the colors not to that level... With at least a better sky, it would have been so much better. But the place from where it has been taken is surely worth a visit on a better day.

All the best,

Emmanuel

Asa,

What an amazing POV. And an amazing piece of architecture. It might be hazy but that seems to be fairly normal for London from looking at photos on TE. Also, I notice you are using your new camera.

Thanks for this incredible view,
Rob

Hi Asa,

You found a great POV for this photo! The building is looking superb. I agree with jarais to strengthen colours a little bit - just like on his workshop, but the pic is really good.

Well done
A.

Hi Asa,
Yes it does looks so similar to the one I posted. It was hazy when I took mine also so I used CS2 to strenghten the colours. Thank you for viewing my photo and your comment.
