Groomsport, Co Down is a lovely little village by the sea. This photo is of the Parish church. The unusual thing about this church is that it is not named after a saint as most Church or Ireland churches are. The church was built in the 1840s by the Maxwell family for the tennants on their land.
Sadly I was unable to capture it all due to the surrounding wall which meant I could not get far enough back. However that said its a glimpse of the village where I live. |
