Itís very rare that a Cathedral will allow photos inside, and rarer still if they tolerate a tripod. But Salisbury Cathedral was very welcoming, and I took this colourful shot of the Anglican altar.
I set up my tripod and waited patiently for no one else to be in shot. I never ask people to move, and frown at those ask me to step off the street, away from the statue etc. Any way, I edited it a little in Photoshop trying to make the Crucifix stand out more from the stain glass.
Salisbury is close to Stonehenge, and I would recommend combining a trip to visit them both.

The stained glass windows are very nice too. this church looks full of richness. Love it.
