Photographer’s Note

as a part of an exhibition, one of the rooms in tate modern museum was painted with black and white lines...this young lady with her black and white striped shirt was taking the picture of the walls with her cellular phone...she was not aware of her matching look...she turned back and saw me taking her photo so i had to tell her and we had a good laugh together...

iki farkli fotografa ayni seyleri yazabilecegimi tahmin etmezdim..Modern sanatlar muzesinde modern sanat fotografi olmus..kadinin uzerindede yatay cizgili kiyafet olmasi ayri bir sans tabi..

Hi Canan.
Oh, there is something very weird happening when I look at this shot, my eyes seem to itch:)
It is incredible how coincidences happen without oneself noticing. It's good that a photographer was on hand to spot it:) It's a great capture and that's all i can manage cos my eyes hurt from looking at it.

Belle image très graphique, mais à votre place j'aurai cadré la jeune femme plus bas. Je n'aime pas la coupure qui passe au milieu du sac et au niveau de la hanche.

Good choice of central frmaing for this one, and a great example of the museum/gallery genre. Especially good th way the exhibit fills the whole frame.

My eyes are dizzy Canan! :) My monitor really don't like all these stripes competing with its own. It's a good photo! I just wished you have detached the woman a bit form the corner of the left 'rectangle' but that's minor. The golden blond hair and the red bag are really the contrasty elements here. Very good!

hello Canan.
Jeez, what an incredible graphism in this shot. Although the lines reak havoc with the eyes, one can still see depth thatnks to the shadow at the peak where the two walls join. great job noticing the shirt to tie the two elements together. Also, the golden hair and red purse add that right amount of color to contrast with the dominant B&W.

Super kompozisyon Canan, acaba fotografin kenarlarini crop edip kizi biraz daha buyuk gostersen ve t-shirt'teki cizgiler daha belirgin olursa nasil olurdu dusunmeden edemedim.

nice graphical shot, I think she's learning geometry :)
Maybe if the bag was not cut, the red/orange could add still more "punch" to this shot.

A great shot here Canan, the scene itself is worthy of a photography, but you're very lucky indeed to have a girl in this shirt in the scene. It's that little detail which makes the difference between an average shot and a great one.

the scene is really excellent and well achieved. The extraordinary graphic and... hypnotic effect is well interrupted besides by colors of hair and bag... where we can stop the look, sometimes, to gain back the sense of the reality :)

This is great, Canan. Well done for spotting the corresponding patterns in the girl's clothing and the artwork. It's made for a striking image, with a lot of impact.
It would have been even better if you had managed to position her exactly between the two shapes on the wall, but nontheless it's a great shot. I like it a lot.

Great view of this artwork. So many lines. My only suggestion would have been to crop out her white pants/red back. Anyhow well seen and catpured.

Hi Canan,

I like this picture. It really shows the doubts of the lady in front of such a masterpiece !
The orange bag and the blond hair are the perfect touch of color in a black and white picture.
Nice also the orizontal linek of the dress. Really beautiful !

Quite and interesting shot and a wierd one at the same time. You definitely had a sharp eye to capture this woman who had the same patterns on her shirt. How weird is that?

Müthiş bir zemin, sarışın kızın çizgili bluzu büyük şans, kırmızı çanta fotoğrafçılıkta son noktayı koyacakmış ama bize acıdığınız için çantanın sadece yarısını karenize aldınız sanırım :) Tebrikler...
