Photographer’s Note

Another live music shot (something of a theme over the last few postings). This one is of the band 'Cud' performing in Leeds last night. Great opportunity for some colourful shots.

This one is 'mixing it' in more ways than one. The sound mixing desk was in shadow while the brightly lit action on stage meant a tricky shot to capture (hence the blurring of the lead singer).

Thought it worth posting just for the differnt view point of the stage and the difference between the madness on stage and the relative calm (though not peace!) of the mixing desk.

Shot in RAW at ISO 800 and then post processed to get correct exposure and adjustment of 'curves' .

Jonathan,
A very interesting and unique point of view. Quite clever with th title too. My only gripe would be the figure on the left hand side i would have perhaps cropped it out as i think it is too distracting. An excellent shot especailly with the motion and drama of the performers.

Good thumbnail, but I don't find the mixing board interesting, so I'd prefer the musicians to be the focus.

Its a great shot Jonathan, the type of scene that I wish I could come across as I too have taken a few live music photos recently. I agree with Peter in regards to the crop, I think this shot would be perfect if you cropped the left 1/3rd
