Taken at a festival called Womad (World of Music, Art and Dance)... The poster is created by the celebrated Indian artist Mohammed Ishaq and his son Ridwan. It is a depiction of one of the most famous Bollywood films of all time: 'Mughal-E-Azam'.

Nice compo here with one going forward and the other backwards. Interesting sign behind...some kind of movie I suppose?
What I like more is how nearly all 'real' faces are hidden but the fake ones on shirt and poster.

Hi Kaj.
I like the size of the people, the biggest person in the foreground and the size gets smaller as it goes to background. Interesting. The person's face in the foreground is cropped out but on her Tshirt got a face instead. That is also unique.

A distinguishable change of subject, but your style is unmistakable there again,
though... the PoV, maybe refreshed by that foray in the open air, is even more innovative.
And I don't say this for the sake of complimenting a good photo with phrases that anyone'd feel good with!
Really when I saw this I thought there was a unique PoV behind the practical PoV, which is your hallmark. You know when it's efficient, and not only daring.
And it's not a matter of contents, since the scene is not an event in itself...

There are lot of colours out there in the mela. I like to see them in a better way.The colours are dull here. The POV is intersting. The action is well composed. The symmetery is good. TFS

The thumbnail and that incredible title brought me down here... apart from the photo qualities that gathers all the codes for a good photo (hesitating about writing such words as inventive or bold framing, etc. because the current photo codes imply drastic crops in the foreground...), I had my mind drifting about "fusion cinema".

Finally wasn't it "Godzilla against KingKong" the first attempt at "fusion" in the movies. Wondering whether M.M.Manson would make an acceptable King Kong.

This is another bizarre and surreal picture. A fitting sequel to your "Cowboy and Indian.." photo. Madhubala paired up with Marilyn Manson, what a match!! I like the fact that you cut off the Goth fan's face because it makes me burn with curiosity to know how the person looks like and whether it is a he or a she. Believe me, I can't tell.

ANother striking compo - clearly you've grown in confidence with every click of the shutter almost... The wtist you put on ordinary British urban landscapes, the way you slip an electronic "raga" in there as it were, is stunning. Very significant work this...

Interesting point Luko makes, I''ve still not got my head around that yet, to me, this still looks daring, and the detail in the back gives an interesting context.

Hi Kaj - I really like like this - the title - or rather the image says it all - makes me think a lot about the supra-culture of the electronic media which erupts like a gigantic mushroom or umbrella above our cultures of the past whilst also reflecting them.....a lot of thoughts have come off this image.....

So dramatic the shot by the poster...You have brought in a sense of time with people walking in with contrasting prints on the T-shirts...
