Hi Kaj,
it a excellent experiment! I love it! Good high contrast in b&w.
I would have maybe cropped a bit the left, not sure.
Anyway, terrific result!

Despite, or perhaps because of the massive area of over-exposure and lens flare, I really like this shot.
Sometimes its great to break the established rules and conventions of photographic technique, and you've certainly done that here, and created a very interesting image.
Cheers,
Ben

High contrast & lens flare, I like both of those things! It's a good experiment, I'd agree with a previous comment about cropping a litle bit off the left side.

Successful experiment. I love the black grass, blown-out sky and lens flare. Way cool.

Oh I love this one...the flares are fantastic, high contrast has created a dream-like atmosphere. I am reminded of Bergmann.

Hi Kaj,
yeah! And what a blown out sky! And how much I like it! Tried that on a few shots I posted up here and will continue going for these high contrast shots. pretty it is not, but good, it is. Fantastic black and good tonal range. Even the lens flare is perfectly fitting to the whole experimental look here.

Wow...whats that?!
One of your best pictures.
Overexposure...blurriness - they all don't matter. This shot has STYLE. You've timed it the right time with the cyclist approaching centre of flame. And I like those glare on the lens too. Would be interesting to see colour version but this BW rocks!
Cheers,

Hi Kaj,
I too am convinced by your exposing the shot, it's not at all shot out by exposure...:)
But the B&W has done much to save it, am I mistaken? You really wanted to make a must-see of that kid so sharp in spite of his approaching an apocalypse... Well, it's very clever of U! Thanks for teaching :)F'

The result of the experiment is absolutely wonderful. The shrubs at the bottom left is having heavenly lights on it.The boy expeimenting with his new bicycle and the man in the far looking at it is very intersting. Without doubt i can say this is one of the best of your captures. Congrats and TFS

Hello,
I really love the over exposure in this shot! I often do this in my work, but tend to find the more experienced photographers that like to do everything by the book frown on it, nonetheless, i think sometimes it can have great results, just like this one here!

Hi Kaj,
Really like the feeling here. The experiment worked well. The blurr, the dark area, the lens flare on the botton everything makes it a unique shot. The boy is just on the right place. Regards,
Flavia

Hi Kaj,
There's something primitive about this shot, like an early photographer experimenting, taking a fairly ordinary scene and not getting the exposure, etc. quite right. I hope you get what I mean. I love it anyway.

Hello Kajal, Looks like you have learned to get the best out of your new Canon 350D. This photo is a proof of your skills.
B&W is the best choice and those lense flares are lovely.
Thanks for sharing

I like this one a lot Kajal. Marvelous experiment with great result. Feels great, eh?
As Animesh said, Bergmannish it is.
