Photographer’s Note
Wroxham and Hoveton St. John are two connected villages, split by the River Bure - Wroxham is a small town in Norfolk and regards itself as the "Capital of The Norfolk Broads" and is situated on the south side of the Bure. Boats of all kinds are for hire and there is also an abundance of hotels, pubs, restaurants and shops.
This picture was taken standing in the middle of the Wroxham Bridge, which is considered to be the second most difficult on The Broads to navigate and, for a fee, a pilot station sits on the Hoveton side of the river to assist boaters.
Both Wroxham and Hoveton have several boat building and pleasure craft hire yards.
I wish this pic had a boat on the left of foreground, but I didn't have time to wait for one!
Thanks for looking.

Lovely setting - great colours throughout the shot and I like how both banks of the river (broad?) seem to converge on that forest at the far end.

Hello VIcky,
un très beau ciel un peu particulier pour surmonter cette scène très simple mais bien capturée.
Le POV nous fait voir ce petit 'port' comme si nous naviguions sur le chenal.
Magnifiques lumières.
Bien à toi.
Daniel.
