This was a shot taken today in a field near to where I live, I took pictures here last june when the field was a sea of poppies, here is a link to a few of them:
This year I believe that the field was cultivated and the poppies were not given time to grow through, it was an amazing site when it was all poppies.
Anyway i like this shot looking down the field towards the sea, I hope you like it too, comments and critiques welcome, thanks for looking
Another shot taken with my mobile phone!

Veri good Steven from small size but why so out of focus. Good colors but somewhat disturbed.

Nicely done, Steven. This is a nice shot of the grasses. I like it a lot. Having worked with a similar shot and thought about it since, I have a couple of ideas. First, shotting at f 2.8 didn't give you the depth of field you could have had. The grass are almlost in focus, but not quite. If you can manually set your aperature, you should (for, like f/11), that should allow you to keep everything in focus. Next, though I like the foreground and background, there's nothing in the middle (I did the same thing). It would be nice to get up higher (like a few steps on a ladder) to get a middle ground in the shot. Nice idea and execution, you just happened onto a shot I've been thinking about and planning to re-shoot.

Hi darling. I think this is a good shot, and a good contrast to the poppy ones, you took last summer this time.... amazing... the diffrence in colours and the overall feeling you get looking over the feeling, especially with the great sea and sky in the distance. I think it's good glad you are back and posting again exspect many more to come from this.

You sure is in for a low pow here and some good details from the field.
For this compo I had choosed a much higher aperture. IE F/22 or higher to have a better overall sharpness in the foreground. Beside that - nice work

Please accept my most sincere apologies for not getting back to you sooner. I've had major computer problems on top of a very high seasonal workload on the farm.
You have a nice, simple composition here but it's so effective. The strongly contrasting textures and the repetitive nature of the wheat(?) heads is very attractive. Also, the colours you've captured here are so nice!
My only comment here is that the horizon line appears to be very slightly tilted but it's nothing that couldn't be fixed quite easily with whatever image editing software you're using. Maybe I'm being a little too picky but it's something I noticed almost immediately. Other than that, it's nice work.
