Lake District on a warm summer day is a really amazing place to visit. The lake on the photo is the largest lake of all, called Windermere from the village with the same name.
Lake District is located very close to the boarder between England and Scotland. Apparently, many many thousand years ago Scotland was a separate island which crashed on England and the Highlands were made. You can also find geological evidence of this activity in Lake District.

A beautiful image which has been well composed with fore- mid- and background interest. The colours and sharpness are also very good indeed. A very nice image and thanks for sharing.

Here we have a lovely POV to overlook this attractive lake and the landscape beyond. The visibility and colours are excellent and the inclusion of foreground adds depth. Nicely composed scene.

Love the photograph, This is one of the best views in the Lake District (Lake is Derwentwater seen from Catbells). Lake Colour is superb, nice cloud formations. Good use of foreground giving so much depth to the picture. Shame to leave that vantage point on a day like this!
