Photographer's Note

Glen Coe is my favourite place actually. Many visitors are unprepared for the sheer beauty and breathtaking serenity of this vast sweeping pass. On my first trip to Glen Coe I wasn`t prepared as well. The wild fields and uncommon nature suprised me very much. With each of the four seasons, new waves of colour wash across the sharply steepening foothills up to the massive angular peaks that push into an ever changing sky. Summer and winter alike, there is never a dull moment - these lands have been a fitting setting for centuries of drama. Little wonder therefore that the area is so popular with Hollywood's directors, with much of Highlander 1 and 3, Braveheart and Rob Roy being filmed in the Glen.
