This was shot in the Royal Horticultural Society's Wisley garden site, on a particularly lovely sunny day. It was crisp though, that and the sunshine made for a perfect time to experiment with my new digital camera.
I've sharpened this a bit, and ran autolevels over it. I've also rotated it to make the house and tree perfectly straight (I hope), as opposed to the bridge, which is on sloped ground.

Yes, I think it is quintessentially... Nice framing and saturation of color. Excellent landscape. P.S. - ducks are OK too. :)

Lovely shot! You know I'm a sucker for ominous skies and warm light. Ducks and reflections are good too. Personally I'd have aligned it on the bridge, it being the strongest element - but it might be less "accurate" that way. Good work :-D

Beautiful composition. The colours are excellent; I like the way they are all blended together around the house. Well seen. Nice ducks too.

Typically English landscape. The contrast between the two trees is very good captured in the picture. Colors are very nice too.

Beautiful crisp shot with great warmth and depth and technically spot on.
I think I would have cheated and leveled the bridge as thats the main point of focus.
