Photographer’s Note
Poole is fast becoming a area of the UK that the rich seem to be retiring too , the naturel harbour 2nd largest in the world (Sydney Australia being the 1st) has a abundance of people playing with their expensive toys , this capture tries to give the feeling of how crowded it can be at the entrance to the harbour will post at a later date images on how small the entrance really is

Hummm, .... I'd have called this one "The Jerk in the Stink Pot".
There are people on deck hauling in the genny and this guy is blasting on past and not watching his wake.
I think this shot would have worked better if you had shot just a few moments earlier and gotten a bit of separation between the two boats. And try Auto-Levels.

You came very close to documenting an accident with this one. I hope all the expensive toys and their owners don't destroy your beautiful harbour. The splashes o water near the offending boat are very real and give a sense of speed and made me gasp when I realised how close the two were.

It must be a photo about how NOT to do things like that they are doing...
To get the feeling of crowdy, one has to know about sea, sailing, ships - to know that the wave was caused by an other one, that just passed, probably even closer as that you show.
Not knowing all that, is just a boat with speed

Great shot, very well caught. What a stupid fellow, he probably drives his car like that without regard to anyone else on the road. I like the action of the photo and the colours too. It looks as though it is a bit misty in the background, no doubt the weather conditions. Nice work.
