Photographer’s Note
Another one from the weekend on Cairngorm - a gloomy day.
Rime frost is driven by the wind & hammered on to the surface. It always appears on the windward side & can be very thick.
The fences are put in to trap the snow, but can be nasty if you hit them at speed when the snow's higher.
Still waiting for a good fall his winter, but the forecasts say it's on the way.
Has been lightened, gamma & saturation adjusted.
