Photographer’s Note
Today's stroll in Poole I came upon a very cooperative subject (is it a gull or tern I am unsure as to which) he or she just stay on this life belt post for about 10 minutes what I like about this shot is the red colour that has been reflected to the underside of the body, from the plastic belt cover, shame I missed the tip to the tale but enjoyed this bird cooperation with photography

Beautiful light. The gull is clear and sharp. The tail was cut off, but it's a nice shot anyway.

It seams that the light blue background dosen't cost many bytes.
Great capture you made Roland - I like the attitude of the bird and of course the clue of the shot - the read tail. Very well spotted.

Nice sharp detailed image... I like the reflected red, have you one where the tail isn't cut off?

This is very, very good indeed. Very sharp and good depth of field. A wonderful portrait of this bird. Well done.

A great bird shot. As you say, too bad you missed the end of the tail. Details are great and the DOF makes the bird seem to stand out. Nice work.
