Photographer’s Note

This is another from my trip to the seaside,Its not easy getting up early on a freezing winters day but i always attempt to have the first footprints on the sand just after the tide has gone out.Its also a great time to see a variety of birds feeding .

Superb photo, David! I love how *dark* the rocks are against the rising sun. It's not just the dark tones, but their interesting textures as well. Great composition; well seen.

This is a great shot from you. The foreground, although dark, still reveals great detail and contrasts powerfully with the bright horizon. The colouring is nice too and complements the whole picture. Good reflections in the water and a good lead into the scene. Well done.
