Photographer’s Note
This would have once been a much quicker way of crossing the moor than our chosen method this day (by foot) but now all that is left is a rusting shell of a Ford Escort, or so I believe.
The reason I posted this image is that I remembered creating a "theme" in my early TrekEarth days named "Burnt-out cars", which I sadly forgot about and left to rust just like the owners of these cars. So here we have a new post.

Nice low key picture and the soft red kept on the car body works fine. Nice work on corners.

A well composed shot but i feel to much post processing work. The mono colour split is clever but those very dark shadows with little or no detail do let the shot down.I addotion I would prefer a touch more sharpness to add definition to the car.

Hello Jamie,
it's a very well composed shot, and this destroyed car on the foreground gives it a sense of tragedy and loneliness.
Regards.

Hi Jamie. I have an attraction to abandoned machines that goes back to my childhood. I think that what makes this one work for me is the comms tower in the background overlooking the ruin of this car.
