Happy New Year!

I wandered down to Chinatown in Manchester this afternoon and managed to grab one or two snapshots of the dragon dance, but alas, my efforts were shoddy, at best.

I managed to get crop this from another shot. I'm afraid this is the best I can provide you with.

that's funny to see that your gradon looks like the one that i saw in Paris today ;-)
colorful image with a nice composition ,perfect to celebrate a new year.

The sheer vibrancy of the colour in this image grabbed me straight away. I know this is a left-over as it were, but I like the composition, and although not pin-sharp, the focus point on the occluded head is well chosen.

Because we see the head behind the rest of the body, what you might think of as imperfect(?), there is a feeling that you are there, as this is the sort of view I normally end up with :)

not very easy to captured the moving dragon, I know cause We had a small trkearth outing in Paris yesterday to watch the CHinese new year celebrations.

Hi lewis, same parade some miles away from one another;-)) same colorful event...

we had a great group of 15 Trekkers to cover the event last sunday...I can see you captured the big draggon:-)
