Photographer’s Note
Rosslyn chapel is a 15th Century church in the village of Roslin, Scotland (south to Edinburgh). The chapel was designed by William Sinclair, a Scottish noble family descended from Norman knights and, according to legend, linked to the Knights Templar. Construction of the chapel began in 1440, and the chapel was officially founded in 1446.
Many books (Foucault's Pendulum, and more recently Da Vinci's Code) link this church to the place where the order of the Templar's buried their tresor. It is a very small and cute middle age chapel, but I don't think there is any proven link with the templars. It is, however, a nice story.
This is a statue on the side of the church facing the south west.

My home back in Scotland is about 3 miles from Rosslyn Chapel - you've brought a tear to my eye!
This is a different view of the Chapel - most are of the inside especially the Apprentice Pillar.
Thansk for sharing!

Rosslyn is one of my favorite places, but i had problems finding a really good angel for a foto. But the one you have here, works pretty good.
Thanks
