Photographer’s Note
It's been quite grey and cloudy over the last couple of days, but as the sun disappeared on Tuesday, it was very bright, so I had no idea how it would turn out when I shot directly into it. This is the result, although it wasn't strong enough to cause the camera (or my eyes!) any damage!
Aperture Priority
ISO 200
Also cloned out some unsightly telephone wires.

Very nice sunset photo with great constrast and colors.
I like very much the composition. The tree and the shapes of the houses look good!

Hi Vicky
This one has caught my eyes - must be the bright sunlight. We don't get sunshine in London, so I was attracted to this shot - Mill Hill is obviously an exception - must move house!
The colour of the sky and the silhouette works well. The framing is well delivered too. I have to say: "Well done", in an honest and dispassionate way.
cheers
Aubrey

Hello Vicky, glad to meet you,I find your gallery nice and beautiful, with some sunsets works that are fine and some are nostagic, too!
This one is attractive, the sun mixed in the yellowish golden around, could visible more if you used f/6.3 or 7.1 with that speed(1/1000) used 1/1250 with 5.6....anyway I like the silhouettes here around, and also the clouds that made the sky beautiful more, well composed and Thanks for sharing Vicky,
Best Wishes
M
