Photographer’s Note
The picturesque harbour of St. Ives in Cornwall taken from the end of the pier looking back on the town. Formally a quiet fishing village, St. Ives is now one of the most popular destinations in Cornwall for visitors and tourists due to it's pretty cobble stone streets and beautiful beaches. It is also a haven for artists and potters with many setting up little shops to sell their work.
Frame added in Photoshop and cropped slightly otherwise unchanged.

Hi Richard,
this one doesn't deserve to be on the uncritiqued list. I've always liked St Ives, do you know Justin Haward (of Moody blues fame) has a pad just around the corner? I like the small boats all facing up and out of the frame. The colours are very pleasant although the houses are a little bright for me and perhaps you could have shown a little more of the quay wall and that would have lead us around the corner, but then that's easy for me to say after the event! I like the overall effect you've created Richard, deserves smilies, well done.
Regards
Stephen
