I wanted to try something else. I made this photo from the roof of a sightseeing bus. I didn't metion to take an unsharp photo, but I liked the effect.

Edinburgh is the second biggest city of Scotland and has about 450.000 inhabitants. The name in Gaellic is Důn Čideann, which comes from Din Eidyn (Fort of Eidyn). After it was besieged by the Bernician Angles the name changed to Edin-burh, which probably derives from the Anglo-Saxon for "Edwin's fort".

It is an very old and beautiful city. The Old Town and New Town districts of Edinburgh were listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995. Every year, 13 million tourist visit the city.

Hej Stefan,
Groetjes,
Lars

Hey Stef. Sorry I'm not really digging it. I think if you didn't have all the people and just tried this with the architecture it would be much less busy. Nice try though and you are certainly to be commended for trying something new!

Hi Stef,
Actually this comes close to really hitting the mark. I do like the blurred effect on the buildings. I think that if some of the people were not blurred that it would be better. But I like the surreal effect in any event and the way you have portrayed the crush of people, all dressed differently. Good colour and contrast and a superb POV. IT is a worthy attempt, Stef. Keep it up.
John

Dag Stef,
I actually do like the effect quiet a lot since without the blurry trails you created the shot would be a normal and kind of boring shot. In this case it works well since you captured a very busy moment in the streets of "Důn Čideann":-)
Good work. Maybe some sunshine wouldn't be bad here...
