Photographer’s Note
Taken this evening at the Fish Quay near North Sheilds at the mouth of the River tyne, This area is a conservation area and is currently being re-developed. The Fish Quay is home to many historical buildings and is a major centre for fishermen with many fresh fish markets. This shot taken looking upstream towards Newcastle you can clearly see the tall cranes that are from the old ship building yards of Wallsend and the tyne dock on the south side of the river..

Hi Nick,
Very nice atmosphere with a good light and freshness after rainfall (I think). Good sharpening and amazing colours. Interesting lights from the boat and reflections on the ground. Well framed too. TFS and best regards. maki

Ciao Nick
You've captured an amazing sky, so red, it makes one forget your in the N.E of England and not in the Caribean.
The reflections in the puddles are great.
Bravo

I really like your picture, the wet quay and the bright lights makes counterpoint to the colorful sky. Great work.

Hi Nick, love the photo, just a pity about the car being in the shot.
Regards
Ian
