Photographer’s Note
Headquarters of Lloyds of London.
I usually prefer taking a sectional shot of tall buildings rather than pointing my camera towards the top.

Nice shot.
I worked in this building (No 1 Lime Street) for a while a few years back.
I loved the building, used to go up to the top floor at night to see the views. I was told that they employed a 'dents crew' to remove dents in the stainless steel panels caused by other maintenance workers. When Lloyds moved to this building, they dismantled the old boardroom, including the fancy panelling and ceiling, and installed it here.
If in the area, it's worth trying to see the ground (underwriting) floor complete with the famous 'Lutine Bell' and the log book of shipping incidents.

Very art-deco, reminds me of a cross between the city in the movie "Metropolis" and the alien machinery in "Forbidden Planet."
The B&W "chrome" effect give the mechanical edge that is the corporate world. And the sectional shot does the trick well.
All the best!
