Another angle on the Elian Donan castle.

This is a fantastic place, like taken out of a medieval movie. The castle itself is very small but it looks just right and has a great position on a small island in the loch.

A beautiful photo. Quite dark on my screen, but I think that actually adds to the atmosphere of this shot. I really think the composition is very good, and the green grass under the castle is a great highlight contrasting well with the red hut.

It reminds me of the movie "Highlander" - is it the same place?

What a good day for this shot. The weather contributes max to your composition of this castle. The structure, the strong colours and not least the fog adds a fine "spooky" value to the setting. Well done Mattias.

Such a castle is made to be engulfed in fog. It looks like a place where dramatic events would have occurred, brrrrrrrr... Very good composition. It's a pity however that there is that red ticket booth. Nothing you could do about it.

I've decided to have a try at it - that is to remove the red booth. I think I've succeeded quite well, with not that much effort after all. Some people might not find this acceptable to remove something on a photo. What do youo think ?

The point of view from the bridge gives me a new impression of the famous castle. The red house and the castle on top keep balance in the diagonal direction. The dusk makes the castle full of mistery.

While the image is dark, it does the job well - you are not trying to hide the bad weather, but giving us the feel of it!

Great photo of the famous castle, I've never seen it from this POV!
The photo really has a medieval mood.
I sent you a ws, because I found many things that I would have done in a different way, adjusting to my taste, hope you don't mind!

Good shot, would remind me of the "Highlander" if not for the red booth. I have one remark not concerning the picture itself, but the place in general - why did they have to put tarmac on the bridge? It look awful, it ruins the whole medieval atmosphere of the castle.
