Photographer’s Note

During a family walk while visiting the Wyre Forest in the West Midlands. As always seems to be the case with photographers, I was hanging back looking for a picture when the sun broke through the trees and highlighted the path in front and cast rays through the mist from the warming forest. I definitely have 'a thing' for forests and woodland with the sense of security from the trees and the wonderful smell of warming soil and leaves, not to mention the variety of wildlife contained in them. Of course, another dimension is added at this time of year with the turning of the leaves and the copper coloured bracken on the hillsides.

This is an awesome picture. Lovely autumn colors and lightning. Nicely spotted. The only thing I would change: I would crop it on the top because the sun on the left is a little bit distracting. On the other hand, those sunrays look lovely! Best wishes!

The only disadvantage is overexposed part in left-top. But the rays in the centre-left looks very nice. You caught people in movement and walking one after another. Also trees and leaves in the centre-right looks very "present".

Lovely autumn image and I especially like the sunbeams. Despite shooting into the sun you have managed to get good exposure on the foreground. Perhaps cropping at the top, while still leaving the sunbeams would make a more pleasing image.
