Photographer’s Note

I was getting a haircut at a new Japanese hair salon near London Bridge, and being the diligent photographer that I am, I had my camera with me and started taking photos of me getting a haircut and the other people cutting hair in the salon. I had to use auto focus and hope my aim was OK and take a shot back at myself.

Click here to see a photo from further out where you can see me holding the camera and shooting into the mirror for that one.

I also posted a painting I made of another shot I took there on the Trek Lens site.

The salon is Malishi Hair Design, a new salon, and Mariko, the stylist in the photo, does a great job, but she can't help that I look pretty porky from this POV. (Who am I kidding, I look porky from any POV ;-))
