Photographer’s Note
This picture was taken in one of my Favourite little villages in the Lake District, called Glenridding, I like this picture 'cause I loove Autumn... when I saw it I knew right away I hate to take a picture, it was just perfect with the lonely bench...
I think this is a nice and crisp photo, with good colours... I took the orange thats in my from from the leaves, to tie it together, I hope you Like!!

Hi Ashely,
Glad to see you,
What a nice gallery you had in TE !
I enjoy it very much,
And this one is a very good poetic atumnal scene that you show us,a pity that it's small, not in TE size, and with a strong frame, but the way I like your composition here,
seems the shot need a bit to become sharpen more, still nice to look at to this poetic atmosphere,
Thanks for postring,Ashley,
Best Regards

A nice composition with superb autumn colours, but some things let the picture as a whole down. Firstly the frame - far too bold and overpowering - it's also taking up valuable pixels which could be photo space. Second, the sharpness, it's just a touch out of focus. I use Adobe Photoshop Elements ans sharpen using the unsharp mask (the last thing to do post pro), settings are AMOUNT - anything up to 200% depending on the pic, RADIUS - 0.5 pixels, THRESHOLD - 1. Thirdly, I would have moved my pov slightly to hide the cars over the wall with the table. All the same, it's still a very nice photograph and worthy of two points (especially as you and danby1 have given me food for thought when I'm off to the Lakes in about 2 weeks).

Love the composition Ashley and the beautiful autumn colours. I just think your frame is far too dominant. I know frames are a personal thing but what do you see first the frame or the photo? If you see the frame first as I did that says it's too much. Also as Mohammed says a smaller frame would give you a bigger photo to post.
As for the sharpness issue - just notice when you downsize, how the sharpness goes away, and click the undo button back and forth to really see the difference.
To put it right the last thing to do before saving is "unsharp mask" (USM)Leave the clipping on the default but reduce the radius to between 0.7 and 1 and sharpen by approx 100. Obviously this will vary with each photo, but if you have the "eye" open to see the effect you can judge whether or not you have got it about right. (I'm assuming you still use Paintshop Pro)
Hope this helps

Hi Ashley,
Yep, nice composition.
I think the frame it 'over the top' for TE - you're just wasting pixels here - the max resolution is limiting enough on TE, why waste space like this?

It is a very nice Autumn shot Ashley,
the composition is very nice. The bench and the tree are standing on the right place and the frame is very nice, maybe a little more sharpnes. realy good job with an atmosphere,

Lovely picture and composition but I would have to agree with a couple of points. The 1st one being the dominant frame and the 2nd is the overall sharpness. Apart from these (which can be corrected) the overall 'atmosphere' of the picture is great.

It is a lovely scene- the leaves add so much color. As far as the frame goes- I admire your creativity with it; whatever floats your boat. The black goes quite nicely, but the size seems to be bothering a few people. Great capture in my oppinion :)
