Wow jeff this is awesome! the water looks great taking up so much of the shot and the sky very well defined, exposure is spot on! im glad you keep going back to this place, youve got some wonderful shot, one question though, did you get wet when taking this shot!?!? it looks as if it was taken from in the water!!

Great picture!
If you take your pictures in RAW don't worry about white balance, you can post-process it with PhotoShop or others, and change it with a simple action.
I have seen others pictures like that and the people use the flash manually to enlight the nearest rocks during the exposure (more than 1 sec, of course!), and they have a really good effects.

Nice Jeff your last 4 pics here on TE have reached the top floor ,they are all worthy of the penthouse suite, your own individual style is beginning to emerge,you go through some shoe leather buts its worth it,TFS.

Hi Jeff. I think this is the best of you photos from the beach, gives me even the impression of being high in mountains with clouds below me. As far as white balance is concerned I prefer in such situations to set wb to cloudy which gives warmer colors. I started to use RAW recently which gives the opportunity to simulate ND grad filters and one can also experiment with different setting during postprocessing. Keep shooting and good luck in Venice. With 1 second shutter speed you achieved a dramatic cloud effect of the moving water. Very well done Jeff. Thanks for sharing. Should be a bright day for f/32 right?
