Photographer’s Note
This was taken from near the summit of Glyder Fach in Snowdonia and shows the view down into Cwm Bochlwyd and on down the Nant Ffrancon valley.
The first lake is called Llyn Bochlwyd and is nicknamed Llyn Australia (Australia lake) for obvious reasons.
The other lake is Llyn Ogwen and is situated at the base of the mountain called Pen yr Ole Wen which is the first (or last depending where you are) mountain in the Carneddau Range
The water to be seen in the distance is the Menai Straits which separates mainland Wales from the island of Anglesey or Ynys Mon in Welsh which is my home county.

Without doubt my favourite part of the world and this shot shows off the majesty and beauty of the landscape.I like the composition and it is nice and sharp,I would though have underexposed maybe half a stop just to add a touch more depth to the shadows, this is after all a harsh landscape.
This time next week i will be there so I hopefully will get some shots like this.
