Strange fruit Photo

Photographer’s Note

During my visit to the castle grounds i noticed these fallen fruit,they looked like apples but i dont think they were ,hopefully somebody out there knows.

Good study you have here ... I would say that they look like apples too.
So I believe that you used a poarizer for this photo too .... even I bought a pola last week though i hav'nt used it ... but your photos are good inspiration

Lovely autumn colours and light. I think I would have prefered a wider DOF or if you had brought your focal point foreward a little, so that the fruit at the front was in focus too.
How big were they? The stalk looks too long for apples.

Possible wild apples! Fine Autumn colors and a good approach angle to this simple nature. Fine enquadrement and a good sharpness. Very well seen and composed.

The colors are perfect for fall- especially in that really green grass. The focus point on the one fruit is great- I love how the leaf on it kind of slowly blends out into the background. I do think they're apples, but they have a kind of cherry-like stem on them, straight up and tall. Good capture!

If the leaves come from the same tree they are most likely some variety of apples... I like your narrow DOF here, focusing on the upper fruit... nice autumn colours. Well seen...

Hi David. When we were kides we called them crab apples. You can eat them but they are very sour. I like the way you focus on the apples and the colours are great. Nice shot. Sue.
