Photographer’s Note
London Underground was formed in 1985, but its history dates back to 1863 when the first world underground railway opened in London.
Today London Underground is a major business, with over 3 million passengers a day - making it the busiest railway network in Britain. It runs 511 trains over 253 miles of track.
**Post Pro: Cropped closer making it more off centered, and increased blue saturation (I now realize it was a little too much! All well).

Very instructive note about London underground and wonderful pic of the pole. Nice shot!

Very informative note. I like the crop off centre and the simple composition. The angle makes it dynamic. Nice and sharp throughout. I don't think the blue saturation is too much. The white background works on the screen and in print, but would be very glaring as a slide (transparency).

I must be one of the few people who actually seem to like travelling on the underground, and I like your photo too. I like the way the photo appears black and white except for the red and blue of the underground sign. I think while you were editing it, it would not have hurt to blur out the small potrusions on the pole - they are a bit distracting.

I also like the way the color shoots out from the grey back. It's almost electric. Seems like a photo taken of a neon lit sign at night in this way. The saturation of the blue is not too much in my opinion. It works well with the strong red.
