Photographer's Note

This picture was taken on a hike (or hill walk as the Scotish would call it) up to Buachaille Etive Mór, a Munro (scotish mountain higher than 3000 feet) at the pass of Glen Coe.

The depicted valley is called Glen Etive and leads south west from Glen Coe. It's an almost magic place with a wild river, small gorges, twisted trees. A 15 mile long single track road only passes a few houses before ending at the lonely Loch Etive.
