Photographer’s Note
I have been away from England for many years but I recently made a return trip and I fell in love with its soft light, its dark skies, its history and its wonderful character.
This is a view from the west of England, looking out onto the wild Atlantic Ocean. For me it captures something about what is sweet and lovely about England.

That's what I remember most about England, Kevin - the grey skies! Personally, I think this would have looked better if your camera had been tilted down a little more so that the top of the frame was just above the peak of the roof on the right, and we had seen a little more of the wall. Also, your sky is showing visible tone graduations - that is probably due to saving this to too small a file size. If you had saved this as a larger file size (up to 200 kb) my guess is that you would lose those visible graduations in the sky. Cheers . . . David

Hi Kevin,
The light is indeed special, especially with that rosy area in the distance. Nice houses by the beach.
