Photographer’s Note

This was taken at the abbey/priory at the tynemouth... steven and I went yesterday and it was a very pretty day and a lovely coast line. I wanted to share with anyone who looks the lovely coast line of the north. I like the colours in this, and the sharpness..... and the movement of the waves... i hope you all do too! thanks for looking¬!

hi ashley, its a nice shot and a nice view, i just think this shot could be sharper as it seems a little "soft" to me, composition is nice and the picture is nicely divided up, colours are nice, but i feel that this shot does not do the view that we had justice! though i still like it and brings nice memories, but the frame i think should be black. x

I like your composition with the triangle of land and the sweeping path and fence that lead you down to the rocks. Maybe I would have cropped some sky so you have the horizon on the top third. Well done

Hey ash, first of all I tend to agree with ste abotu the frame, black is the way forward! I also think that the pic could be sharpened a little and that the colours coudl be enhanced. I have had a play and made a workshop that I will post tomorrow for you. I hope you dont mind!

Hello Ashley. Back from holidays I have to start up a little on the T-sites.
I've seen a lot of blue during my holidays, just like here in your picture. It's a good picture with movement in it; I love it that you tell us what you like in it; it proves that you believe in what in you are doing and that's important.
In my holidays I discovered the use of a polarizing filter; especially on water and sky it gives great coloureffects; well perhaps you know that already.
Have a nice time; it was good to meet you and your work again.

Hi ashley, i like the square format of this shot. Funny you should post this, because these rocks were the exact location where This Shot was taken! i was up early one morning when the tide was out and went onto these exact rocks!!!

The waves do look great. A little unsharp, but thats already been said. The blue color is great for an ocean shot. Nice work!
