Photographer’s Note
It was strange seeing a window of an antique store specializing in Cranberry Glass, advertising it's web site on the window frame. This was taken late afternoon in Morton-in-the-Marsh at the end of a busy "market day". There is no actual marsh in Morton, but the word comes from March or boundary. During the war years on the BBC radio in Britain there was a comedy show which was called "Much Binding in the Marsh" which was very popular, and this village is where the show got it's name, as there was an air force base nearby, and some of the airmen put together the humorous show for the entertainment of the men, and it became a great hit on the radio.
