Photographer’s Note
Bamburgh Castle shot at about 9.30pm. The castle is always floodlit on special occasions and Bank holiday weekends, and I think best photographed before the sky turns really dark. Tried different shutter speeds, and found 30 secs (the longest exposure) brought out the best in the colour of the floodlights. The only alteration made before I posted the shot onto TE was to sharpen slightly.
