Fireworks are not so easy to capture. Here, you combined successfully a good angle and several fantastic shots. Very good Kenneth. I'm impressed.

Fantastic shot Kenneth, exposure is exerlent, and youve caught the fireworks really well. unfortunatly i missed the ships, i was coming back to newcastle that night and had the luck of travelling on the metro over the bridge just as the fireworks were taking place! lovely shot and thanks for sharing this great experience!

What a great photograph - you have certainly captured the fireworks brilliantly. Great colours. I certainly agree with your comments on Newcastle - great people - great place (I am biased since it is my home town!).

This is a great exposure Kenneth, with the sky a beautiful 'bruised' colour and a fantastic composition. The 8 second exposure has given a result which looks like overlaying; the line of fireworks ascending up to the top right balances the line of bunting (the small triangular flags) and the 2 vertical lines of fireworks cut across these and point to the sky bursts. Stunning.
I also like the patch of people in the bottom left of the shot as it seems to make me part of the audience.
