"Sittin' in the mornin' sun
I'll be sittin' when the evenin' come
Watching the ships roll in
And then I watch 'em roll away again, yeah

I'm sittin' on the dock of the bay
Watching the tide roll away
Ooo, I'm just sittin' on the dock of the bay
Wastin' time"
-By Ottis Redding.

Just after leaving the high trees of my previous picture, we went back down to the reservoirs to discover that bench, inviting for a rest. Unfortunately, we didn't have time enough to stay there, otherwise se would have been late for the bus back to Sheffield.

The light was changing again and again, and the clouds were coming back, with some rain for sure. This is one of the three bir reservoirs providing water to Sheffield and the surroundings.

The bridge that seems so nice is in fact quite a big noisy road (to Manchester ?) but fortunately we don't hear anything from this nice bench.

Bien vu !

Well composed scene, Youssef!
Good POV with the reservoir and the bench ovelooking the bridge and mountains in the distance.
Also, the sky is nicely coloured.

Bonsoir Youssef,

Bravo
Vince

I like this one alot Youssef, the bench on its own makes this have a great feeling to it, the wide almost panoramic format suits the composition well, the bridge looks great too in good focus, your right the bridge holds the main road between Sheffield and Manchester, the only large road in the area which travels over the top of the pennine hills. Lovely shot, youve got a really good Travelogue, thanks for sharing!

A lonely but lovely scene, Youssef. I like how the bridge is barely discernible and how the bench sits empty overlooking the reservoir. Subtle lighting and a great sky. All in all, a very satisfying scene. Well done.

what blisful solitude. great choice of landscape and flawless composition.
