Photographer’s Note
Look monument in the Queens Park in Loughborough.
A love this park it is an oasis in middle of Loughborough will often go and walk through it at lunchtime.
Here i am trying to experiment with old photos I have took and try using different post production such as making it black and white etc.
It was sad a while back parked had to be closed at 4pm due to people vandalising the park why they feel they must do this I do not know.

No one has welcomed you to TE yet Russ - so let me be the first - hello and welcome to Trek Earth - I agree about the sad things people do to beautiful places like this - as you know I work right on the edge of this park and it is not good to see such damage there.
It's good you are experimenting with your images - here the black and white does emphasise your subject but compositionally I think you perhaps need to re-think a little - the image shows a little too much sky - it's also a little over 'blown' by the strength of the light - if I can go and regain my computer I'll send a workshop - this is a great place to learn and develop your photographic eye - so many helpful people - if you get time take a browse through the workshops people have done for each other - it's one of the really good things about TE - all thanks be to Adam!!
best wishes
Kev
