Photographer’s Note

Leeds, the urban jewel of Yorkshire, made its fortune with textiles and tailoring. Today, the regenerating city is a top financial and legal centre with great shopping, dining and nightlife.
A 12 million project is transforming Millennium square, the Waterfront is being revitalized with new leisure facilities, bars and restaurants and Leeds is attracting increasing numbers of city-breakers and business travellers to its handsome Victorian heart. It takes 20 minutes to walk from the Town Hall in the east to the West Yorkshire Playhouse on the western side of the city centre. Leeds City Train Station is located 10-minutes walk from the Town Hall on the south side of the city centre.

Train lines are great for making strong converging lines, and stations make even more interesting lines. Here there is a nice movement from bottom left to top right, and a great sky. The image is nice and sharp, but if anything, there has been a little over-sharpening, as indicated by the white halos round some objects that are viewed against the sky. Rather than try to fix this (easier from the original), I've done a WS that narrows the focus of the image a little more by darkening the edges. Nice composition.

For very subjective reasons colors of your photo are vere appealing to me. Technically sharpness is outstanding which is not common and requires some practice and a personal taste. Thanks for sharing

Fantastic colors, leading lines and feeling of waking in the morning. The train is key here, giving the sense of motion and walking up.
