Photographer's Note
Belfast City Hall is a neo-Renaissance monolith of Portland stone pillars, pediments and parapets. The building's facade is rigidly symmetrical and the interior is of Italian marble and oak panelling. The grounds contain a statue of Queen Victoria, a monument to the victims of the Titanic and a statue of Sir Edward Harland, founder of the Harland & Wolff shipyard which constructed the doomed liner.

A lot of history behind that building, but it's nice just to reflect on the architecture rather than the politics. It would have been nice to see the top of the dome as well.
